RECEPTION 1-3pm and TAKEDOWN 3-4pm
On line registration is required beginning 9/19/2022 on the ASMC website, and will end on 9/30/2022 at midnight.
This Exhibit will feature artwork displayed at the
Monmouth Beach Cultural Center and on the ASMC’s Website.
This Exhibit is open to all current members, an entry fee of $5.00 will be assessed. The Exhibit will be judged by a professional who will evaluate the various medium categories for recognition awards: 1st,2nd, and 3rd, Place {monetary} Awards and Achievement ribbons (previously called Honorable Mention). A medium category has to have 5 or more entries. If not, the entries will be combined into another similar category or into "Mixed/Other".
EXHIBIT REQUIREMENTS
· Online registration is required beginning 9/19/2022 on the ASMC website, and will end on 9/30/2022 at midnight. A participant in this exhibit must be a fully-paid current member.
· One entry per artist at $5, as space is limited.
· The artwork must be for sale and cannot have previously won any ASMC monetary awards. The sale price should be based upon the matted and framed work.
· No nudes or political statements will be accepted.
· The artwork represented in your submitted JPEG file must be an original work by the artist.
· Artists are encouraged to insure their works; the ASMC is not responsible for damage or loss of artwork during the exhibit.
· Exhibit physical-entry restrictions; works exceeding 25”x 36” or in excess of 20 lbs will not be accepted.
· A 20% commission to ASMC will be collected for works sold as a result of the Exhibit. Sales Tax remittance is the responsibility of the artist. Inquires for the purchase of art will be made to the ASMC’s email: info@artsocietyofmonmouthcounty.org. The artist will be contacted and connected with the potential buyer.
· The Submission Form requires an Electronic Signature. To do this, press and hold your “Mouse” in the box until a dot is shown and you can “write” your signature holding the left “Mouse” button down. By providing this Electronic Signature you agree that the rules for this Exhibit will be followed, that the information is correct, and it is not subject to modification.
● Resize your JPEG file(s). Resolution at 72 ppi; long side is equal or
greater than 2000 pixels. File size must less than 3 MB. If you can, set Color Space to s-RBG, this will allow for better viewing on a monitor.

- Mobile phone photographs are acceptable (submit as a JPEG file).
● Rename your JPEG file
- Select a Medium Code for the file:
O = Oils; A = Acrylics; WC = Watercolors; PA = Pastels;
PH = Photography; and MO = Mixed/Other, DR = Drawing; DA = Digital Art; and
S = Sculpture.
● Required Information for JPEG File Name:
“Medium Code_Name Last_ Name First_ Title”
Example: “PH_Smith_John_My Old Homestead”
Notes:
- Be sure that your JPEG files are is properly resized and named before
“Clicking” the “Submission Form” link.
- During online submission you will be asked to provide: the height
(H) and width (W)
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The ASMC Annual Membership starts September 1st and ends August 31st. If you are not current with your dues, your membership can be renewed by mailing a check for $30 for individuals or $40 for household, payable to the ASMC and mailed to the:

Alternatively, you can use PayPal (accessed from our website).
If you are not a member, you can join the ASMC by going to the: “Join Us” Membership page at www.artsocietyofmonmouthcounty.org and follow the instructions on the new Membership page.
After completing the new member form, you can pay using PayPal instead of mailing a check. Once your form and payment are received, you will be contacted by our Membership VP to welcome you. You may then enter the exhibit.”
DROP OFF ARTWORK:
Saturday October 15th from 10am-noon
Prior to traveling to the Monmouth Beach Cultural center, please check our website for any potential closure or our forced transition to a Virtual Exhibit. Prior to dropping off your artworks, please fill out and print a “BACK LABEL”. A tag number (TAG #) will be provided on Receiving Day that will identify your works for judging.
END OF SHOW RECEPTION AND PICK-UP - Saturday, November 5
At the conclusion of the exhibit at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, all artworks must be removed following the closing reception (November 5th, at 1-3pm; Pickup from 3-4pm.) If you cannot do this yourself, please make arrangements to have it removed. If artwork remains, the ASMC will take possession of the items for 30 days, after which the artwork will be donated to a non-profit organization.
